Baylor Students Boost Local Entrepreneurs!

This month, Serve Hope had the incredible opportunity to welcome a team of business students from Baylor University—and wow, did they make an impact! These students didn’t just visit; they jumped right in, working one-on-one with local entrepreneurs in our Emprende program.

Antigua, Guatemala

From brainstorming pricing strategies to building websites and setting up social media pages, they helped business owners take their ideas to the next level.

One of those entrepreneurs was Adan, a passionate business owner who hires moms to handcraft beautiful artisanal bracelets—providing them with fair wages and steady work to support their families. Adan has a heart for his team and a vision for his business, but he had never taken it online. That changed when the Baylor students stepped in!

Together, they built Adan’s very first website—fully bilingual in English and Spanish! They also helped him develop a pricing strategy and set up social media to expand his reach beyond Guatemala.
